Art the Clown Returns in ‘Terrifier 2’ Novelization, Set for October Release

Art the Clown, the sadistic villain who has been terrorizing audiences on the big screen for over a decade, is set to torment readers in a novelization of ‘Terrifier 2’. Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting are teaming up with Titan Books to release the novel on October 29, 2024, coinciding with the release of ‘Terrifier 3’ in theaters on October 11, 2024. The novelization, written by Tim Waggoner, known for his work on ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’, ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’, and ‘Halloween Kills’, promises a ‘gruesome’ take on the events of the film. The official synopsis reads: “In this gruesome novelization of the hit horror film, the nightmarish Art the Clown returns from the dead to continue his murderous and mad spree in the sleepy town of Miles County, one year after they survived the events of ‘Terrifier’. Little do they know the nightmare is about to begin anew.” ‘Terrifier 2’ picks up with Art resurrected and seeking vengeance. With Halloween night approaching, he targets Sienna Shaw and her younger brother, Jonathan. Sienna must find a way to defeat the vicious clown before it’s too late. The film, directed by Damien Leone, was a box office success in 2022, earning over $15 million against a budget of $250,000. The third installment, ‘Terrifier 3’, is set during Christmas and features returning cast members Lauren LaVera, Elliott Fullam, Samantha Scaffidi, Chris Jericho, and David Howard Thornton. New cast members include Daniel Roebuck, Tom Savini, and Jason Patric. The novelization of ‘Terrifier 2’ will provide fans with a new way to experience the terror of Art the Clown, offering a glimpse into his twisted mind and the gruesome events that unfolded in the film.
