The adventure movie starring Mark Wahlberg, based on the book Arthur: The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home by Mikael Lindnord, is set to be released on Blu-ray and DVD on May 28, 2024. The digital release date is set for April 23, 2024.
The movie chronicles the bond between a racer and a dog after the pair make an unlikely connection. Alongside Wahlberg, the film also stars Simu Liu, Juliet Rylance, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ali Suliman, and Paul Guilfoyle, with Bear Grylls as himself.
According to the official synopsis, “the film follows Mikael as he finds a wounded stray dog during a 400-mile race through the Ecuadoran jungle. After offering the dog some food before starting back again, the dog followed his team through some of the toughest terrains on the planet, with Lindnord deciding to adopt the dog and bringing him back to Sweden after.”
The Blu-ray + DVD + Digital release will retail for $39.99, while a standalone DVD copy will cost $29.96. The movie can be purchased for $24.99 or rented for $19.99 for a 48-hour period on digital storefronts.
