Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is gearing up for his directorial debut with the web series titled ‘Stardom’. Actor Manoj Pahwa, who is part of the cast, recently shared his experiences working with Aryan on the project. While he couldn’t disclose much about the plot, he confirmed that the series revolves around the captivating world of Bollywood.
When asked about similarities between Shah Rukh Khan and his son, Pahwa acknowledged the obvious familial resemblance, emphasizing Aryan’s dedication and work ethic. He described Aryan as a hardworking young man and highlighted the enjoyable experience of collaborating with him. Drawing a parallel with Shah Rukh Khan’s well-known workaholic nature, Pahwa remarked, “As we all have heard Shah Rukh Khan is a workaholic. I’ve seen it myself that he works for 18-20 hours a day. Aryan has the same quality.”
In December 2022, Aryan revealed that he had completed writing his debut script. The project, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, owned by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, wrapped filming in May. ‘Stardom’ boasts a star-studded cast, including Sunny Deol and Mona Singh.
Pahwa also shared his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan’s respectful demeanor towards his co-stars, emphasizing how the Bollywood icon treats everyone with love and respect, making them feel like long-time friends. “Khan comes and sees people off with a lot of respect. And, the same quality is there Aryan as well,” Pahwa added.
He further highlighted Aryan’s respectful nature, particularly towards his elders. “Respecting elders, taking care of them…it’s a wonderful quality. Shah Rukh used to come and check if Aryan was treating us well or not,” Pahwa shared.
Pahwa also recounted a heartwarming gesture from Aryan. He mentioned how Aryan, who used to get his tiffin from his family’s home, Mannat, would share the food with him if he liked it. “It was a great feeling to be served food from Mr. Khan’s house,” Pahwa expressed.
