Ascott and Jin Jiang Hotels Team Up to Expand Apartment Hotel Brands in China
Ascott Limited, a subsidiary of CapitaLand Investment, has announced a strategic partnership with Jin Jiang Hotels (China Region) to expand their popular apartment hotel brands, Quest and TULIP LODJ, across the vast Chinese market. This 50:50 joint venture signifies a major step forward in catering to the surging demand for upscale and upper midscale apartment hotels in China.
The collaboration will primarily leverage a franchise model, empowering Ascott and Jin Jiang Hotels to rapidly expand their reach and cater to a wider audience. The initial phase of the joint venture involves the management of three operational properties: two in Wuhan and one in Shenzhen, encompassing approximately 600 units. This strategic move marks the first foray of the Quest brand into the Chinese market while further bolstering the presence of TULIP LODJ.

Guests will enjoy enhanced flexibility and benefits through seamless integration into the loyalty programs of both Ascott and Jin Jiang Hotels. This means travelers can earn and redeem points through either Ascott Star Rewards or Jin Jiang Rewards, providing greater value and convenience for frequent travelers.
This joint venture represents a significant opportunity for Ascott to tap into the lucrative Chinese market and expand its global footprint. The partnership with Jin Jiang Hotels will accelerate brand growth, enhance guest experiences, and solidify Ascott’s position as a leading provider of high-quality apartment hotels. This collaboration is expected to significantly contribute to the evolving landscape of China’s hospitality industry, offering travelers an expanded range of upscale and upper midscale accommodation options.
