Scheduled for launch in 2025, the Becketwell Performance Venue in Derby represents a substantial £45 million initiative set to greatly enhance the city’s cultural and event scene. Boasting 1,000 sqm of exhibition space, a 2,100-seat theater-style auditorium, and the capacity to host banquets for up to 600 guests, it is complemented by 2,500 hotel rooms conveniently situated within a 15-minute radius from an international airport. This dynamic addition is poised to invigorate Derby’s cultural landscape.

With over 5,700m2 of flexible exhibition and banquet space, a 900-seat auditorium, 17 conference and meeting rooms, and 6,000 hotel rooms nearby, it will offer seamless connectivity via Central Station and Newcastle International Airport.
Also slated for a 2026 debut, Olympia London will undergo a £1.3 billion transformation into a multifaceted hub for art, culture, entertainment, education, and events. Besides integrating with Olympia’s renowned exhibition spaces, the revamped complex will feature two internationally acclaimed hotels, a state-of-the-art conference center, new meeting rooms, additional exhibition space, and expansive public areas. Notably, Incipio, renowned for its ‘pergola’ rooftop venues, will curate premium dining and drinking experiences across the 14-acre site.
Set to debut in 2026, the Southport Marina Lake Events Centre (MLEC) is poised to transform the current site into a top-tier hub for both business and entertainment, projecting to draw in more than 500,000 visitors each year. Featuring a tailor-made auditorium with seating for up to 1,200 individuals in a theater layout, the center will also boast 1,500 square meters of exhibition space, breakout zones accommodating up to 1,000 participants, and sweeping vistas showcasing the UK’s only permanent water and light spectacle.
