ASRock Launches Radeon RX 7900 XTX and XT Creator GPUs for Workstation Users

ASRock has released two new Radeon GPUs as part of its Creator Series, the ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Creator 24GB and ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Creator 20GB. These graphics cards are specifically designed for workstation users and feature a compact, two-slot form factor with blower-fan cooling. This design, combined with the use of a single 12V-2×6 power connector, makes them ideal for multi-card parallel computing, a common requirement for AI workloads. The 7900 XT and 7900 XTX are AMD’s flagship gaming GPUs for the Radeon RX 7000 Series. These 4K-capable cards are designed to run the latest PC games seamlessly. However, the new Creator Series from ASRock elevates these GPUs to a workstation-first focus, setting them apart from their gaming counterparts. The 12V-2×6 power connector, an updated version of the original 12V HPWR connector introduced with the GeForce RTX 40 Series, is designed to minimize issues with overheating cables and connectors. This connector has been adopted by newer GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, and its inclusion in the ASRock Creator Series GPUs marks the first time it has been used in a Radeon RX 7000 Series GPU. The ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Creator 24GB and Radeon RX 7900 XT Creator 20GB have dimensions of 312 x 111 x 39 mm, leaving ample space for the necessary power connectors. While the compact form factor and blower-fan cooling could potentially lead to higher noise levels compared to traditional multi-fan setups, ASRock emphasizes that the cooling system includes 0dB Silent Cooling for less demanding workloads. The flagship ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Creator 24GB boasts a Boost Clock of 2500 MHz, a Game Clock of 2270 MHz, 24GB of GDDR6 memory on a 384-bit Memory Bus, 96MB AMD Infinity Cache, and an output configuration of 3 x DisplayPort 2.1 and 1 x HDMI 2.1. The ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Creator 20GB features a Boost Clock of 2395 MHz, Game Clock of 2025 MHz, 20GB of GDDR6 memory on a 320-bit Memory Bus, 80MB AMD Infinity Cache, and an output configuration of 3 x DisplayPort 2.1 and 1 x HDMI 2.1.
