Assassin’s Creed Shadows: A Captivating Glimpse into the World of 16th-Century Japan
Ubisoft has unveiled the cinematic world premiere trailer for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the highly anticipated open-world RPG set in 16th-century Japan. The trailer tantalizes players with the introduction of two distinct protagonists: Yasuke, a renowned historical black samurai, and Naoe, a skilled Japanese shinobi.
Players will have the opportunity to embody both Yasuke and Naoe, each possessing unique combat styles that cater to different playstyles. Yasuke excels in upfront combat, relying on brute strength, while Naoe specializes in stealth and agility.
This marks the first time Ubisoft has incorporated a real-life historical figure as a main protagonist in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. The inclusion of Yasuke adds an intriguing layer to the game’s narrative. Additionally, the trailer features Fujibayashi Nagato, a prominent shinobi from the Iga Province, who plays the role of Naoe’s father.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows promises to deliver an immersive and authentic experience of feudal Japan, promising exciting adventures and historical encounters. The game is scheduled for release on November 15, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Windows PC, and Mac.
Ubisoft is building anticipation for the game’s official reveal at Ubisoft Forward on June 10th, where fans can expect to learn more about the gameplay and other exciting details surrounding Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
