AT&T’s New ‘Next Up Anytime’ Lets You Upgrade Your Phone Three Times a Year

AT&T is launching a new early upgrade program called ‘Next Up Anytime’ designed for those who want to upgrade their phone more frequently. For an extra $10 per month, you can upgrade your phone three times a year. This program will be available starting July 16.

AT&T already has a similar program called ‘Next Up’ that has been available for a few years. ‘Next Up’ costs $6 extra per month and allows you to upgrade after paying off half of your phone. However, ‘Next Up Anytime’ provides more flexibility with two upgrade options:

*

Upgrade after paying off 33% or more of your phone:

This allows you to take advantage of trade-in offers and other upgrade promotions.
*

Upgrade anytime after making one installment payment and the first ‘Next Up Anytime’ payment:

This gives you the freedom to upgrade more frequently, even if you haven’t paid off a significant portion of your phone.

It’s important to note that this program only allows three upgrades per year. If you want to upgrade more often, you’ll need to find alternative solutions.

While some may question the need to upgrade their phone three times a year, this program could appeal to those who want to stay on top of cutting-edge mobile technology or simply prefer to switch things up more frequently. With new Android phones releasing every few months and Apple releasing a new iPhone line annually, there’s always something new and exciting to explore in the mobile tech world.

If you’re an AT&T customer who enjoys upgrading your phone regularly, ‘Next Up Anytime’ might be a worthwhile option to consider. However, carefully evaluate your needs and budget before committing to this program.
