As part of its commitment to inclusivity, Austrian Airlines has designed a custom Pride truck that will lead the parade, adorned with the progressive Pride flag and a large rainbow-colored engine. The truck will accommodate approximately 50 people and host a lively program featuring renowned Austrian drag queen and DJ Tamara Mascara, ensuring a vibrant and memorable experience for attendees.
Annette Mann, CEO of Austrian Airlines, expressed her pride in the airline’s participation, stating, ‘Our employees are as colorful and diverse as the rainbow.’ She emphasized that discrimination has no place at Austrian, a sentiment echoed by Michael Trestl, CCO of Austrian Airlines, who said, ‘With our participation in the Vienna Pride Parade, we are sending a strong, visible signal of our attitude towards both our employees and our guests on board.’
