Austrian Airlines is expanding its destination portfolio again this summer with two additional routes in Europe. The airline will resume flights to Tbilisi, Georgia, on May 1 and to Bremen, Germany, on May 6.
Tbilisi, nestled at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains, is known for its scenic old town and appeals to tourists seeking both adventure and leisure. The route will be serviced three times a week—on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—facilitating seamless connections through Vienna to other destinations worldwide, including North America and Asia.
Bremen offers attractions such as the iconic Bremen Town Musicians, the bustling market square, and the UNESCO-listed Bremen Town Hall. The route will operate four times weekly until June and then adjust to three weekly flights in July and August. The frequency will increase to four weekly flights again from September.
The expansion of the short-haul network underlines Austrian Airlines’ positioning as the clear number 1 in Vienna and expands its footprint in the European market. The move is also expected to improve connectivity and contribute to the growth of tourism and business activities between Austria and Georgia.
