AZAL Launches Discounted Airfares to Bucharest and Sofia
AZAL, the flag carrier of Azerbaijan, has announced discounted airfares for flights between Baku and Bucharest, Romania, and Baku and Sofia, Bulgaria. The promotion offers competitive rates for one-way and round-trip tickets, providing travelers with affordable options for exploring these vibrant Eastern European cities.
For the Baku-Bucharest-Baku and Baku-Sofia-Baku routes, one-way tickets are priced at 169 euros, while round-trip tickets are available for 300 euros. Similarly, for the Bucharest-Baku-Bucharest route, one-way fares are 155 euros, with round-trip tickets also at 300 euros. Travelers opting for the Sofia-Baku-Sofia route can purchase one-way tickets for 153 euros or round-trip tickets for 300 euros.
The promotion includes a generous hand luggage allowance of up to 10 kg. It’s important to note that these special airfare rates are not applicable during peak travel times, ensuring that travelers can take advantage of the discounts during off-season or less crowded periods.
AZAL will commence flights to Bucharest, Romania’s capital, twice weekly starting June 3, with departures scheduled on Mondays and Thursdays. Flights to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, will also operate twice weekly, specifically on Tuesdays and Fridays, beginning June 7.
