The court deemed this a serious lapse in the investigation.
The court also emphasized the need for gender education in schools, advocating for the inclusion of lessons on gender equality and sensitization from the pre-primary level itself. The bench asserted that male dominance and chauvinism persist, highlighting the need to address this issue at a young age. They stressed the importance of teaching boys about respect for women and the consequences of harmful behaviors.
The court acknowledged the need for increased awareness and expressed concern about the excessive use of social media among children. The case continues to be investigated by the SIT with the aim of ensuring justice for the young victims and preventing similar incidents in the future.
