Bali has solidified its position as Asia’s leading beach destination, according to Agoda’s latest rankings. The digital travel platform released its top beach destinations in Asia just in time for International Beach Day on September 1st, based on accommodation searches for September and October.
Bali, the Indonesian island paradise, emerged as the most popular coastal retreat, attracting an impressive 11% increase in searches compared to the same time last year. This surge in popularity highlights the enduring appeal of Bali’s stunning beaches, lush landscapes, and vibrant culture.
Other prominent beach destinations in Asia secured spots in the top three, including Okinawa in Japan and Da Nang in Vietnam. This list showcases the diverse array of beach experiences available across the continent, catering to various tastes and preferences.
Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines each boast two destinations within the top ten, demonstrating their strong appeal among beach enthusiasts.
