Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, led by Mrs. Darunee Debavalya, Senior Director of Marketing Communications, recently wrapped up the successful ‘Bangkok Airways Boutique Series 2024.’ This campaign, a strategic initiative to promote sports tourism, was a collaborative effort with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), spearheaded by Mr. Sobthana Anprasert, Director of the TAT Sukhothai Office.
The series culminated in the captivating ‘Bangkok Airways Sukhothai Half Marathon,’ hosted at the historical Wat Mahathat within the Sukhothai Historical Park. This event drew in runners and sports enthusiasts from across the region, highlighting the rich cultural and historical significance of Sukhothai while promoting active tourism.
The event was graced by the presence of Mrs. Sanguan Masena, Deputy Governor of Sukhothai Province, who presided over the ceremony. The occasion was further amplified by the participation of representatives from public and private tourism networks and sponsors, collectively amplifying the province’s tourism profile.
Through this series, Bangkok Airways effectively combined sports with tourism, showcasing the beauty and historical significance of Sukhothai while encouraging active lifestyles and promoting the region as a destination for sports enthusiasts.
