Banking Drama Returns: ‘Industry’ Season 3 Premieres August 11th

The highly-anticipated third season of the acclaimed financial drama “Industry” is set to premiere on August 11th on HBO. The new season promises a fresh wave of characters and rivalries, with the addition of Kit Harington as the enigmatic Henry Muck, head of a green tech energy firm.

Returning cast members include Myha’la Herrold as Harper, Harry Lawtey as Robert, Marisa Abela as Yasmin, and Ken Leung as Eric. The new season will also introduce a slew of new characters, including Miriam Petche as Sweetpea Golightly, Andrew Cavill as Lord Norton, Roger Barclay as Otto Mostyn, Fady Elsayed as Ali El Mansour, and Fiona Button as Denise Oldroyd.

The new season will pick up where the second season left off, with Harper, Eric, Rishi, and DVD’s plan to ditch Pierpoint derailed and old wounds reopened. Yasmin will confront her philandering father, while Eric will rat out Harper for faking her academic credentials. Yas and Robert will also express their desire to leave Pierpoint.

In the meantime, Harper is eager to get back into the addictive thrill of finance and finds an unlikely partner in FutureDawn portfolio manager Petra Koenig. The new season will also explore Pierpoint’s focus on ethical investing and the arrival of Sir Henry Muck, a British aristocrat who embodies ‘old money’ privilege.
