Bayern Munich’s Zaragoza Moves to Osasuna on Loan

Bayern Munich winger Bryan Zaragoza has signed a loan deal with Spanish side Osasuna for the remainder of the season. The 22-year-old joined Bayern in January from Granada for a reported €15 million ($16.5 million) but struggled to find consistent playing time with the German giants, making only seven appearances.

Bayern’s sporting director Christoph Freund expressed optimism about the loan move, stating, “We’re convinced that this season in his native Spain will (help) him.” He emphasized the need for Zaragoza to gain experience through regular playing time at a high level, deeming Osasuna an ideal environment for this.

Zaragoza, who made his debut for the Spanish national team in October 2023, was not included in the squad that won the European Championship this summer. The loan move to Osasuna provides him with a chance to showcase his abilities and potentially earn a place back in the Spanish national team setup.
