Bengaluru Metro Purple Line Services Restored After Tree Branch Disruption

Following heavy rain and strong winds in Karnataka, Bengaluru Metro services along the entire Purple Line have resumed normal operations after a tree branch fell onto the metro track, causing disruptions. The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited confirmed the restoration of services, stating that trains are now running as per schedule from Challaghatta to Whitefield.

Earlier, the Trinity Metro Station on the Purple Line faced service disruptions due to an uprooted tree that fell over the metro track. The BMRC had announced that trains were operating only between Indranagar to Whitefield and MG road to Challaghatta, but efforts were underway to clear the obstacle and resume normal operations.
