Bengaluru Water Supply Disruption for Two Days Due to Cauvery Stage V Project Work

Residents of Bengaluru are facing a water supply disruption on Thursday and Friday, June 5th and 6th, due to ongoing work on the Cauvery Stage V Project. The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BSWWB) has announced that all its pumping stations will be shut down during these days.

The water cut will affect areas receiving supply from Kaveri 1, 2, and 3 stages’ water supply units. These areas will experience a 12-hour water disruption from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on both days. Additionally, areas receiving supply from Kaveri 4th stage 1st and 2nd phases’ water supply units will face a four-hour water disruption from 10 am to 2 pm.

The BSWWB has advised residents to store sufficient water for the duration of the disruption. The water supply is expected to be restored after the completion of the project work.
