Bengaluru Woman Choked to Death by Husband, Suspect Detained

A tragic incident occurred in Bengaluru on Tuesday night, leaving a 25-year-old woman named Navyashree dead. According to reports, Navyashree was choked to death by her husband, Kiran, at their home. Police have detained Kiran for questioning, suspecting his involvement in the murder.

The incident came to light after Navyashree’s friend, Aishwarya, filed a complaint with the police. Aishwarya revealed that Navyashree had reached out to her earlier that day, expressing her distress about her marriage. Aishwarya, along with another friend named Anil, visited Navyashree’s house that evening. Navyashree confided in her friends about her marital troubles, and Anil advised her to file a police complaint.

After dropping Anil off, Navyashree and Aishwarya returned to Navyashree’s home and went to bed around 11:30 pm. However, the next morning at around 6 am, Aishwarya awoke to the horrifying discovery that Navyashree had been strangled to death. She immediately contacted the police to report the incident.

Police believe that Kiran, who was suspicious of Navyashree, may have used his key to enter the house during the night and carried out the murder. Sources close to India Today have stated that the woman was bound to a chair, tortured, and then killed.

Authorities are questioning Kiran to gather evidence and uncover the truth behind the tragic incident. This case highlights the grim reality of domestic violence and the need for increased awareness and support for victims. The investigation is ongoing, and further updates are expected as more information becomes available.
