Biden Jokes About Trump’s Hair After Former President’s Windmill and Bleach Comments
President Joe Biden received a standing ovation Wednesday after joking about former President Donald Trump’s hair.
The president took a shot at Trump while speaking at the North America’s Building Trades Unions conference.
“In fact, construction of new factories has more than doubled in our administration,” he pointed out. “Meanwhile, Donald Trump still thinks windmills cause cancer.”
After pausing for laughter, Biden continued.
“By the way, remember, he was trying to deal with COVID, he said, just inject a little bleach in your veins,” Biden added. “He missed. It all went to his hair.”
The joke brought the president’s laughing supporters to their feet.
“I shouldn’t have said that,” he added. “I probably shouldn’t have said that.”
Trump’s defense team is using a “throw everything against the wall and see what sticks” strategy in his New York hush money criminal trial, according to a new report. Former federal prosecutor Shan Wu wrote in The Daily Beast that the scenario of a lone holdout juror causing a “hung jury” and ensuing mistrial is neither the panacea Trump may believe it to be nor as grave a danger that those hoping for a Trump conviction fear it to be.
A “sovereign citizen” who skipped his federal trial last summer on Jan. 6-related charges is now in custody after the FBI arrested him in Florida. Victor Sean Dennison, 49, was arrested at Woodlake Condominiums in Clearwater, Fla., on Monday, according to multiple outlets.
