Bihar BEd CET 2024 Results Announced: Hajipur’s Rajkumar Preeti Anmol Tops Exam

The Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), responsible for conducting the Bihar Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Common Entrance Test (CET) this year, has announced the results for the 2024 exam on Monday, July 8th, 2024. Candidates who participated in the Bihar BEd CET 2024 exam can access their scorecards by visiting the official website at biharcetbed-lnmu.in. To view their results, candidates need to enter their login credentials, including their Login ID and Password, on the portal.

Rajkumar Preeti Anmol, a student from Hajipur, has emerged as the state topper in the B.Ed examination, achieving a commendable score of 102 marks. The exam, held on June 25th, saw a significant number of participants, with 1,89,568 candidates appearing for it. Out of these, a remarkable 1,80,050 candidates have successfully passed the exam, showcasing their dedication and hard work.

To qualify for the Bihar B.Ed exam, general category candidates need to achieve a minimum qualifying mark of 35% (42 marks), while reserved category candidates require a minimum of 30% (36 marks).

The counselling process for candidates who have successfully qualified for the exam will begin shortly. A total of 37,400 seats are available for admission in 342 B.Ed colleges across 14 universities in Bihar. These colleges include five government colleges, 31 affiliated colleges, approximately 355 private colleges, 21 minority colleges, eight women’s colleges, and one men’s college.

The B.Ed CET 2024 exam was conducted at 341 examination centres located in 11 cities across Bihar. The exam is crucial for admission to the two-year B.Ed and Shiksha Shastri programs. A significant number of candidates participated in the exam, with 95,130 women and 94,430 male candidates vying for a spot in the coveted B.Ed programs.
