The Central Constable Selection Board (CSBC) has declared the much-awaited results for the Bihar Police Constable Exam 2024 on Thursday. The results are now available on the CSBC’s official website, csbc.bihar.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the written exam can access their results, cutoff marks, and the complete selection list.
A total of 58,805 candidates have been selected for the next stage – the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This includes 53,455 candidates (33,710 men and 19,745 women) chosen for Home Guard positions and 53,500 (33,730 Male and 19,770 Female) for Non-Home Guard positions.
The breakdown of the selected candidates by category is as follows:
* Non-reserved category: 42,780
* Economically Weaker Section: 10,700
* Scheduled Caste: 17,000
* Scheduled Tribes: 1140
* Extremely Backward Class: 19,210
* Backward Classes (including 56 transgenders): 12,850
* Women of Backward Classes (WBC): 3275
What’s next for selected candidates?
Those who have cleared the written exam and are now eligible for the PET will need to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test. The exact dates, timings, and venues for the PET will be published on the CSBC website. The CSBC PET Admit Card will be available on the official website in due course.
Candidates must note that they will need to appear for Document Verification (DV) during the PET. The DV will take place at the time specified on the admit card. Candidates must carry a photocopy of their online application form acknowledgement along with all necessary certificates.

The Bihar Police Constable Exam 2024 was conducted to fill various constable positions in different departments. The written exam was held in a pen-and-paper format on August 7, 11, 18, 21, 25, and 28. A total of 17,87,720 candidates applied for the exam, out of which 9,63,563 appeared for the written test, vying for 21,391 vacant constable positions.
