Billie Eilish, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, has revealed that her song ‘Lunch’ played a significant role in her realization of her attraction to girls. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Eilish explained that she wrote the song before and after her first experience with a girl, and it helped her understand her true feelings.
Eilish shared, “That song was actually part of what helped me become who I am, to be real. I wrote some of it before even doing anything with a girl, and then wrote the rest after.”
The ‘No Time To Die’ hitmaker continued, “I’ve been in love with girls for my whole life, but I just didn’t understand — until, last year, I realized I wanted my face in a vagina.”
Eilish’s journey of self-discovery comes after previous relationships with men, including Jesse Rutherford. The pair split in May 2023, maintaining a friendly relationship despite their brief time dating.
Eilish’s upcoming album, ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft,’ is set to release on May 17th and will include the introspective track ‘Lunch.’ Her openness and honesty in sharing her personal experiences have resonated with fans and continue to empower others on their own journeys of self-discovery.
