Chaos erupted in north Delhi’s Jahangirpuri after a biryani seller was found using disposable plates with an image of Lord Ram, a revered Hindu deity. Local Hindu organizations discovered the plates at the biryani shop on Sunday, triggering outrage. The vendor was questioned, and several plates featuring Lord Ram’s image were found discarded in the trash after use.
Police were called to the scene, and a packet of four plates with the sacred image was recovered. Investigations are ongoing to determine how the plates were obtained and why they were being used inappropriately.
