BJP Condemns Neha Hiremath’s Murder, Demands CBI Probe

In a show of solidarity, the Kalaburagi district unit of the BJP held a protest on Monday, condemning the brutal murder of 23-year-old student Neha Hiremath in Hubballi.

Led by senior leaders such as Basangouda Patil Yatnal and Umesh Jadhav, the protestors gathered at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Chowk, carrying placards and raising slogans against the state government.

They demanded a thorough investigation by the Crime Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and expressed their anguish over the incident.

Yatnal, in particular, accused the Congress government of appeasement politics, claiming that it has led to a rise in criminal cases and cases of ‘Love Jihad.’ He urged the public to support the BJP for better governance and security.

The protestors later submitted a memorandum at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, outlining their demands.

Religious heads of various mutts also joined the protest, adding their voices to the call for justice. The police were present in large numbers to maintain order, and the protest concluded peacefully.
