Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has expressed confidence in the BJP’s victory in all 29 Lok Sabha seats in the state, including Chhindwara, a Congress stronghold for over four decades. Yadav attributed this optimism to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “track record” and the “Modi-ki guarantee.”
Yadav highlighted Modi’s 10-year tenure and the lack of anti-incumbency factor against him, citing the BJP’s assembly election victory last year despite anti-incumbency buzz. He also pointed to the BJP’s increased voteshare in the assembly election, from 44% to 48%.
Yadav believes the Congress is aware of its imminent defeat, evidenced by their decision to concede the Khajuraho seat to the Samajwadi Party. He emphasized the BJP’s focus on a “straight plan,” including interlinking river projects and central government assistance for various projects.
