BJP Excludes KS Eshwarappa for Six Years

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced the expulsion of former Karnataka Chief Minister KS Eshwarappa from the party for a duration of six years. This decision was taken due to Eshwarappa’s breach of party discipline.

Despite his expulsion from the BJP, Eshwarappa has expressed his intention to run as an independent candidate in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

This news has sparked a range of reactions within the political sphere. Some have expressed support for Eshwarappa’s decision to contest as an independent, while others have questioned the rationale behind the BJP’s decision to expel him from the party.
