BJP Transforming Kerala Politics: Javadekar, Vijayan’s Popularity Declining

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is transforming the political landscape of Kerala, according to former Union Minister and the party’s state election in-charge, Prakash Javadekar.

Javadekar expressed optimism about the BJP’s performance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, stating that the party aims to win more than five seats, a significant improvement from its current standing of no wins in the state.

‘We are confident of winning 5-plus seats,’ Javadekar asserted. ‘Politics here is changing, all vote banks are thinking differently. Everyone knows (Narendra) Modi will become the PM. Rahul (Gandhi) has no chance.’

Javadekar attributed the positive shift in the state’s political dynamics to the impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s central schemes, which have benefited approximately 2 crore people in Kerala.

He criticized the Congress and the Left Democratic Front (LDF) for engaging in divisive rhetoric, which he believes has contributed to their declining popularity among the electorate.

In contrast, Javadekar emphasized Modi’s continued popularity and his strong position as the frontrunner in the race for the Prime Ministership.
