BJP national general secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who contested from the high-profile Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat, hosted a get-together of party cadres at a private function hall in Karimnagar on Wednesday night. The event came in the aftermath of the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, where Mr. Kumar sought re-election from the key constituency in north Telangana.
According to party sources, Adilabad MLA Payal Shanker, Peddapalli candidate Gomasa Srinivas, and Warangal candidate Aroori Ramesh were among those who attended the event. Scores of BJP cadres from various parts of the State, primarily from north Telangana, also participated.
Speakers at the get-together exuded confidence that Mr. Kumar will emerge victorious from the Karimnagar constituency with a significant margin for the second time in a row. The meeting provided a platform for party members to discuss the election results and strategize for the future.
