It’s revealed that Ciel has been primarily handling Clayton’s tasks, but in reality, Sebastian has been handling those responsibilities along with his housemaster duties.
The episode shifts focus to the Swan Gazebo, where the prefects socialize with their drudges. Conversations about Ciel Phantomhive ensue, with all the prefects expressing their admiration for him. They discuss how, despite his noble status, Ciel seems exceptional in handling his tasks. Later, Edward Midford reveals that Ciel is his cousin and the person to whom his sister is engaged.
Trusting Edward’s word, the prefects collectively decide to invite Ciel to Swan Gazebo, with Edgar Redmond taking the lead. However, a jealous Cole, Edgar’s drudge, intentionally gives Ciel the wrong time, resulting in the drudges’ anger when Ciel arrives two hours late. Unfazed, Ciel digs up dirt on Cole with Sebastian’s help.
The episode concludes with Ciel inviting Prince Soma Kadar Asman to join Weston College as a student, setting the stage for a captivating confrontation between Ciel and the prince in the upcoming episode.
