Country music star Blake Shelton couldn’t contain his praise for his wife Gwen Stefani’s exceptional performance at the 2024 Coachella festival. Despite not being able to attend the event in person, Shelton watched a video recording of Stefani’s set and was deeply moved by her energy and connection with the audience.
‘You could tell that they just have that energy and that connection with each other,’ Shelton told E! News in a recent interview. ‘It’s the best concert I think I’ve ever seen in my life.’
Shelton emphasized the extraordinary nature of Stefani’s performance, praising her for the meticulous rehearsals that went into preparing for the festival. ‘You can’t even imagine the rehearsals leading up to that because she hasn’t played with those guys in like nine years,’ he said.
Shelton’s admiration for Stefani’s work ethic and talent extends beyond her Coachella performance. In a separate interview with Entertainment Tonight, he recalled their first meeting on the set of The Voice and admitted that he had never expected to marry her. However, Shelton’s initial impression of Stefani was quickly transformed into a deep love and respect for her as an artist and as a partner.
