Blink is in the process of rolling out a new feature, Blink Moments, to Blink Subscription Plus Plan members. This exciting feature allows users to access compilation videos, referred to as ‘Moments,’ that pull together video clips from multiple cameras during a single motion event. Imagine seeing a comprehensive look at an activity in one single video, rather than scrolling through separate motion events for each individual camera. That’s the power of Blink Moments.
This innovative feature automatically compiles all relevant footage from all cameras in your system during a motion event. For example, you can watch a delivery driver arrive on one camera, and then the Moment seamlessly transitions to footage from another camera showing the driver dropping off your package at your doorstep. It’s a truly unique feature that can make a Blink membership even more compelling.
Jonathan Cohn, head of product at Blink, emphasizes that Blink Moments aims to streamline the viewing process and provide users with the easiest way to access crucial events on their property. “The Blink app is core to the customer experience, and we’ve invested in making it easier and more intuitive, from modernizing our home screen to now reinventing our clip list. Moments is a whole new way for our customers to engage with their footage,” said Cohn. “Whether it’s their family playing outside, packages being delivered, or pets exploring the yard, Blink Moments combines the moments that matter into one video.”
Blink recognizes that its users typically have an average of three cameras on their property. Navigating through dozens of motion events generated by these cameras can become overwhelming. Moments was born out of the desire to solve this issue, providing a streamlined and intuitive experience for users. This feature will automatically sync with new cameras as they are added to the system and works seamlessly with all of Blink’s battery-powered and wired products.
Blink Moments is expected to be fully rolled out in the coming weeks. Be sure to keep an eye on your app to see when it goes live.
