Emergency crews responded to the house fire around 7:30 a.m. and located the man deceased inside the home. The victim’s name and the location of the home have not been released. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with the Office of the Fire Marshal and the Office of the Chief Coroner, are investigating the fire. The OPP says the fire is not believed to be suspicious at this time. The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone who witnessed the fire or has any information to contact them.
