Body of Missing Boater Recovered from Green Lake
The Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office has recovered the body of a missing boater from Green Lake. The man’s body was located using sonar technology near the boat launch.
Police had been searching for the man since Tuesday morning after he was reported missing. The victim’s boat was found near the bottom of the lake, and his body was found approximately 75 to 100 feet towards the dock.
The man’s identity has not been released, and the cause of his death remains under investigation. An autopsy is being conducted to confirm the cause of death by drowning.
