Bollinger Motors, a leading manufacturer of electric commercial vehicles (EVs), has entered into a partnership with Texas Consulting & Development LLC (TCD) to provide its Bollinger B4 Class 4 trucks as part of TCD’s new service offerings for ports and related industries. This collaboration strengthens TCD’s vehicle portfolio and enhances its Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Vehicle-to-Building (V2B) technology solutions.
This partnership will enable TCD to leverage the Bollinger B4 electric truck to expand sales across various sectors, including Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Telecom, and Utility. This strategic move is expected to significantly increase market penetration for Bollinger Motors and provide comprehensive solutions to a wider range of industries.
“This partnership presents another opportunity for the Bollinger B4 to assist companies across diverse industries in electrifying their vehicle fleets as TCD helps its clients develop comprehensive clean energy strategies,” said Jim Connelly, Chief Revenue Officer of Bollinger Motors. “TCD is a leader in helping companies reduce their carbon footprint, and we are pleased they have chosen the B4 as a key component of these efforts.”
Both companies share a commitment to using electrification technology to enhance operational efficiency while minimizing carbon footprints across numerous industries. “We are excited to add Bollinger Motors’ innovative B4 truck to our suite of solutions. This partnership uniquely positions Bollinger Motors’ commercial trucks with our comprehensive fleet infrastructure charging options that streamline and optimize the integration of EV fleet vehicles,” stated Steven Villarreal, Managing Partner of Texas Consulting & Development, LLC. “This collaboration aligns with the future of EV and its potential for edge energy production – a crucial solution for grid providers across the U.S.”
This agreement with TCD follows a series of milestones achieved by Bollinger Motors in recent months, including the commencement of production for the Bollinger B4, the provision of a full warranty for the B4 chassis cab, the receipt of a Certificate of Conformity from the Environmental Protection Agency, and significant vehicle sales to Momentum Group (145 vehicles), Doering Fleet Management (70 vehicles), and EnviroCharge (50 vehicles). Additionally, Bollinger Motors has expanded its dealer and service network with the addition of TEC Equipment to Nacarato Truck Centers, Nuss Truck & Equipment, and LaFontaine Automotive Group. The company has also partnered with Our Next Energy in Novi, Michigan, to supply battery packs and with Amerit Fleet Solutions as its mobile service provider.
Furthering its commitment to sustainable transportation, Bollinger Motors recently qualified for federal clean vehicle tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act, receiving $40,000 per vehicle for the B4 chassis cab. To learn more about Bollinger Motors, visit www.BollingerMotors.com.
