Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi, India, received an email on Tuesday night, stating that a bomb had been planted on an Air Canada flight bound for Toronto, according to officials. The email was received at the Delhi Airport Limited (DIAL) office at 10.50 pm. Upon receiving the email, authorities immediately initiated a thorough inspection of the aircraft, following standard security protocols. This incident came just days after a Mumbai-bound Vistara flight from Paris, carrying 306 passengers, also received a bomb threat on June 4. Following the threat, a full emergency was declared at the Mumbai airport prior to the flight’s arrival. The threat turned out to be false, and the flight landed safely at 10:19 am on Sunday.
