Breeze Airways is expanding its reach from Burlington International Airport (BTV) with the addition of a new non-stop route to Fort Myers, Florida, starting October 4th. This marks the fourth Florida destination served by Breeze from BTV, joining Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville. The airline, which began service at Leahy BTV in January, has quickly become a popular choice for travelers looking for convenient and affordable flight options.
The inaugural flight to Fort Myers will depart BTV at 11:25 a.m. on October 4th and arrive at Southwest Florida International Airport at 3:05 p.m. The return flight will depart Fort Myers at 7:15 a.m. on the same day, arriving back in Burlington at 10:45 a.m. The Fort Myers route will operate weekly on Mondays and Fridays, utilizing an Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
This new service provides travelers from Vermont with a convenient way to access the beautiful beaches and attractions of Southwest Florida, especially during the potential for winter weather in Vermont.
