Breeze Airways Expands Service from Grand Junction with New Las Vegas Flights

Breeze Airways is expanding its services from Grand Junction, Colorado, with the addition of new direct flights to Las Vegas, Nevada. These flights are set to begin in January 2025, marking a significant expansion for the airline in the region. This new service joins Breeze’s existing routes from Grand Junction to Orange County and San Francisco in California, both of which launched earlier in 2024.

The announcement was made on Wednesday, with the airline confirming that the Las Vegas route will offer travelers a new and cost-effective option for travel between the two cities. Angela Padalecki, Executive Director of the Grand Junction Regional Airport, expressed gratitude to Breeze Airways for adding a third route to the airport. She highlighted the popularity of Las Vegas as a destination for Grand Junction residents, stating that it is the top city pair with the highest number of travelers going back and forth.

Breeze Airways, founded in 2021, is known for its low-cost flight offerings. The airline’s founder, David Neeleman, is also the founder of JetBlue. In addition to the Las Vegas route, Breeze will also introduce a one-stop “BreezeThru” service to Hartford, Connecticut. This service allows passengers traveling from Grand Junction to Hartford to remain on the plane during the layover in Las Vegas, offering a seamless travel experience to the East Coast.
