A bridge in China succumbed to the relentless downpours and winds on Saturday, April 20, collapsing into a river in Guangdong province. The collapse was captured on a security camera as the structure crumbled under the force of the floodwaters.
The southern province has experienced unusually heavy rainfall since Thursday, marking an early start to the annual flooding season typically seen in May and June. The torrential rainfall has resulted in evacuations of stranded residents, and state media has reported that 11 people remain missing in the area.
