As summer drew to a close, British Vogue, in collaboration with The Platinum Card® from American Express, hosted an exclusive supper club at the esteemed London restaurant, Toklas. On Tuesday evening, a gathering of Vogue’s friends and notable figures descended upon The Strand for an evening of culinary delight.
The event unfolded with a tantalizing array of seasonal vegetable-forward dishes, meticulously crafted by head chef Chris Shaw. Each course was artfully paired with fine wines, expertly selected by Toklas’s sommelier, Agustina Basilico Miara, who guided diners through the nuances of each glass.
The evening commenced with a welcome reception featuring kumquat martinis, Franck Pascal Champagne, Belazu olives, and friggitelli peppers. Guests were then led to their seats, eager to savor the culinary journey ahead.
