Browns Draft Local Product Michael Hall in Second Round

The Cleveland Browns have added to their defensive line by selecting local product Michael Hall with the 54th overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Hall, a Streetsboro High School graduate, played his collegiate football at Ohio State, where he earned third-team All-Big Ten honors in 2023. In 2023, he recorded 2.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in 12 games, including seven starts. During his 2022 campaign, Hall registered 7.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks in 12 games with five starts.

Hall will now have the chance to contribute to a strong defensive line rotation in Cleveland under head coach Kevin Stefanski and defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. The Browns are hoping that Hall can bring his tenacity and playmaking ability to their defense and help them make a playoff push in the upcoming season.
