The Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs will each try to take control of their first-round series as the action shifts to Toronto for Game 3 on Wednesday, April 19th. The Bruins will shake up their defense as Mason Lohrei and Parker Wotherspoon will each make their series debuts.
The series is tied 1-1 after the teams split the first two games in Boston. The Maple Leafs won the opener 4-3 in overtime, while the Bruins bounced back with a 5-2 victory in Game 2.
The Bruins will be looking to get more production from their defensemen in Game 3. Lohrei and Wotherspoon will be tasked with providing some stability and puck-moving ability to the back end.
The Maple Leafs, meanwhile, will be looking to continue their strong play at home. They have won their last three games at Scotiabank Arena, including a 5-4 overtime victory over the Bruins in their final regular-season meeting.
Auston Matthews leads the Maple Leafs with 69 goals this season, while John Tavares has added 76 points. David Pastrnak leads the Bruins with 47 goals, while Brad Marchand has 80 points.
Puck drop for Game 3 is set for 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 19th. The game will be broadcast on NESN (locally) and TBS (nationally). Viewers looking to stream the game can do so by using FuboTV, DirecTV Stream or Sling TV.
