The victim was married to Rishu, their sister, last year, despite objections from her family. The brothers-in-law, who were against the marriage, attacked Abhishek and his friends with a sword. The attack resulted in Abhishek’s death and serious injuries to his friends. The incident occurred when Abhishek was travelling to attend a relative’s wedding. The police have arrested five individuals, including the attackers, in connection with the case. Rishu, the victim’s wife, is currently living with her in-laws and is safe.
