Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard has suffered a strained Achilles and is in a walking boot, casting serious doubt over his availability for Game 4 against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, sources tell ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Lillard said he appeared to aggravate the Achilles injury late in regulation, although he remained in the game and played through overtime. After the game, Bucks coach Doc Rivers said Lillard was struggling due to the injury and that he played as a decoy in overtime. Lillard, on the other hand, remained optimistic after the Game 3 loss, but with the walking boot on, his chances of playing seem slim. The Bucks are already down their two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo due to a left calf strain. Antetokounmpo has yet to suit up in these playoffs and likely won’t until the next round if the Bucks make it past the Pacers. Lillard was traded to the Bucks a month before the 2023-2024 season started. In his first season in Milwaukee, Lillard averaged 24.3 points per game, 4.4 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game on 42.4% shooting from the field. Lillard’s season could be over, meaning the Bucks’ season could be over soon without their superstar duo. Game 4 is on Sunday at 4 p.m. PT/ 7 p.m. ET.
