Lillard, in vintage form, erupted for an impressive 35 points in the first half alone. Middleton complemented Lillard’s performance with a robust double-double, amassing 23 points and 10 rebounds.
Despite missing key players, the Bucks dominated the game from the onset. Lillard’s offensive outburst set the tone, while Middleton’s all-around play provided a solid foundation. The Pacers struggled to keep pace, with only Tyrese Haliburton (23 points) and Bennedict Mathurin (19 points) providing significant offensive contributions.
The Bucks will look to extend their lead in Game 2, which is scheduled for Thursday night in Milwaukee.
