Building Hope Opens Application Window for $170,000 in Grant Awards to Charter Schools and Leaders
Building Hope, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the growth and success of charter schools, has announced the opening of applications for its fourth annual IMPACT Awards. This prestigious program will recognize and reward outstanding contributions made by charter schools, education leaders, and dedicated volunteers who are making a difference in their communities.
The IMPACT Awards will be presented at the Fourth Annual IMPACT Summit & Awards, scheduled to take place on May 6-7, 2025, in Miami, Florida. The event will bring together a vibrant community of charter school leaders, educational champions, and industry experts to celebrate the remarkable achievements in public education, exchange valuable insights, and reaffirm their collective commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students across the nation.

Building Hope will be awarding a total of $170,000 in grants to deserving recipients who exemplify excellence in three key areas:

In addition to the grant awards, the IMPACT Summit will present the prestigious S. Joseph Bruno Model Charter Award. This award will honor three established charter schools or networks that have made a significant and lasting impact on the charter school sector, demonstrating a commitment to quality education and student success.
Furthermore, one dedicated charter school volunteer will be recognized with the $5,000 Shellie-Ann Braswell Shine Brighter Award. This award, named after a beloved member of the Building Hope family, acknowledges the invaluable contributions of volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to supporting charter schools and enriching the lives of students.
