Building Innovation 2024: NIBS Conference to Explore Resilience, Technology, and Sustainability
The National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) is hosting the Building Innovation 2024 conference, a premiere event for professionals in the built environment sector. Scheduled to take place in Washington, D.C., the conference will bring together industry leaders, government representatives, and partners to address challenges and find solutions for the future of building.
The conference’s agenda covers three key tracks: Resilience, Technology, and Building Performance/Sustainability. Highlights include the NIBS 50 Anniversary General Session, where attendees will hear from partners and members of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, General Services Administration, Fannie Mae, and more. The first day will conclude with a Golden Anniversary Reception.
One of the key highlights of the event is the Brains & Bytes BIMStorm: Digital Twin AI Workshop. This immersive workshop will bridge the gap between theory and practice in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. Participants will actively engage with real-world data from building information modeling (BIM), geographic information systems (GIS), and digital twins, gaining insights and tangible results that can be applied directly to real-world situations.
