Businesswoman Found Dead at Hotel Used by Royal Wedding Guests
Businesswoman Samantha Mickleburgh was found dead on April 14th at the five-star Pennyhill Park hotel in Surrey, England. The hotel is a favorite with the England rugby squad and was used to accommodate guests for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in 2018.
Arrest Made
Following Mickleburgh’s death, 60-year-old James Cartwright was arrested and charged with murder and controlling and coercive behavior. He appeared in court on Tuesday and spoke only to confirm his name and age.
Tributes Paid
Mickleburgh’s family has paid tribute to her, describing her as a ‘dedicated mother, daughter, and friend’ who will be dearly missed.
Investigation Ongoing
Surrey Police are continuing their investigation into Mickleburgh’s death and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
