## Calling All Engineers! Volunteer as a Judge for the Future City® Competition
DiscoverE, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring future engineers, is seeking passionate engineering and technical professionals to judge the 33rd Annual Future City® Competition. This year’s competition challenges students to design innovative floating cities tackling the pressing issues of rising sea levels and climate change, showcasing the crucial role of engineering in addressing global challenges.
A Unique Opportunity to Shape the Future of STEM
The Future City® Competition provides a unique platform for middle and high school students to apply their engineering and problem-solving skills to a real-world scenario. Students meticulously craft their designs, supported by detailed essays, comprehensive project plans, impressive scale models, and engaging presentations. As a judge, you’ll have the privilege of directly engaging with these young innovators, witnessing firsthand their creativity and dedication as they navigate complex challenges.
How You Can Make a Difference:
Judging can be done either in person or virtually, offering flexibility to suit your schedule and preferences.
