Canada Nickel Delivers Strong Drilling Results Across Multiple Properties in Timmins Nickel District

## Canada Nickel Makes Significant Strides in Timmins Nickel District with Positive Drilling Results

Canada Nickel Company Inc. is showcasing the immense potential of the Timmins Nickel District with its latest drilling results from five distinct properties: Reid, Mann West, Mann Central, Mann North, and Reaume. This announcement underscores the company’s commitment to advancing exploration programs and bringing multiple regional properties to an initial resource stage.

The company’s 2024 regional exploration program remains on track, having successfully completed over 100,000 meters of drilling across 14 properties all located within 100 kilometers of Timmins, Ontario. These results highlight the vast potential for nickel, cobalt, and PGM mineralization within the region.

Reid Property: Confirming Large-Scale Potential

The Reid property, located just 16 kilometers southwest of Canada Nickel’s flagship Crawford project, boasts a massive geophysical target spanning 3.9 square kilometers—nearly 2.4 times larger than Crawford. Infill drilling at Reid continues to deliver encouraging results, demonstrating the extent of the well-mineralized ultramafic body. The company has completed 26,061 meters of drilling from 41 holes in 2024, adding to the existing 32,893 meters from 57 drillholes completed in 2023. These efforts have delineated a mineralized ultramafic body with a strike length of 2.2 kilometers, a width of up to 1.0 kilometer, and depths reaching 650 meters within the central core of the target geophysical footprint. The anomaly remains open in multiple directions, suggesting significant potential for further discovery.

Assays from seven holes have been released, with results for seven more holes pending. These assays demonstrate the presence of long mineralized intervals comprised primarily of dunite and minor peridotite. REI24-46, drilled near the east end of the anomaly, intersected targeted higher grade nickel mineralization, confirming the continuity on strike of at least one higher grade horizon.

Canada Nickel remains on track to produce an initial resource estimate for Reid, expected before the end of 2024.

Mann West: Exceptional Nickel Mineralization

Mann West, situated approximately 3.5 kilometers long and up to 1.1 kilometers wide, is demonstrating exceptional nickel mineralization. The drilling program has focused on the southern half of the target, covering a strike length of 1.7 kilometers and a width of at least 600 meters. All drillholes intersected long sections of well-serpentinized peridotite and minor dunite with disseminated and visible nickel sulphide mineralization.

The company has drilled 40 holes at Mann West to date, including 31 completed during the 2024 program. This marks the completion of the first phase of exploration, paving the way for an initial resource estimate expected by Q1 2025. Assays from nine holes are presented in this release, with the remaining holes at Mann West still pending.

Mann Central: Consistent Mineralization

Mann Central, estimated by magnetics to be 4.5 kilometers long and between 0.5 to 1.0 kilometers wide, also displays consistent mineralization. Drilling completed during the spring/summer of 2024 now totals 32 drillholes and 11,853 meters. The mineralization is particularly consistent near the center of the target, covering an area of 1.9 kilometers by 600 meters. This release provides an update for 13 drillholes, all of which intersected varying degrees of mineralized peridotite.

Mann North: Gold Intersections

The Mann North target, spanning approximately 1.5 kilometers long by 600 meters wide, has yielded multiple gold intersections. Drilling completed during the summer of 2024 included 16 drillholes totaling 6,315 meters. The majority of these holes intersected long sections of peridotite and minor dunite, with nickel grades consistent with Crawford. However, the peridotites also have anomalous values of platinum and palladium over significant intervals.

The ultramafic units at Mann North also exhibit higher gold values, particularly near certain contacts. These gold intersections can be both high-grade and narrow or thicker and lower grade, demonstrating the diverse nature of the mineralization. Nine of 15 of the drillholes at Mann North assayed to date include gold intersections of 0.4 g/t gold or higher.

Reaume: Expanding Exploration

The Reaume property, situated 20 kilometers northeast of Crawford, is poised to become part of the ExploreCo subsidiary assets. Prior drilling campaigns in 2022 were hindered by seasonal access constraints, but in June 2024, the company resumed exploration and intersected a mineralized portion of the ultramafic body. This release contains the results of three drillholes at Reaume, with assay results pending on two remaining holes.

Canada Nickel’s ongoing exploration programs highlight the impressive mineral potential of the Timmins Nickel District. These positive drilling results across multiple properties, including significant nickel, cobalt, and PGM intersections, reinforce the company’s position as a leader in advancing the next generation of nickel-sulphide projects to meet the growing demands of the electric vehicle and stainless steel industries. With a clear focus on sustainability and responsible mining practices, Canada Nickel continues to demonstrate its commitment to driving innovation and value creation in the nickel industry.
